To change the Pasteboard Color or the Pasteboard Color for the Active Spread , follow these steps:




  1. Go to QuarkXPress > Preferences (Mac) or Edit > Preferences (Windows).

  2. Select the Display pane of the Preferences dialog.

  3. Click on the Color box to display the Color Picker window.

  4. Select the color you want for your Pasteboard and click OK.



Background:

In QuarkXPress 8 you can change both the Pasteboard color and width in the Display pane of the Preferences dialog. You can also change the color of the Pasteboard for the active spread currently selected in a layout.
