Background: Legacy documents that are created using Pasteboard XTension will not be converted as version 9 document using the Document Converter.
Solution:
An XTension named PasteboardSluggerRemover.xnt needs to be added to the Quark Document Converter XTensions folder so that the Pasteboard can be removed and the documents can then be converted to QuarkXPress 9 Documents.
XTensions folder location
MAC: MAC HDD > Applications > Quark Document Converter > XTensions
Windows: C: > Program files >Quark > Quark Document Converter > XTensions
