You can apply colors to entire tables using the Modify dialog by following the steps listed below.
- With the Item tool selected, click on the Table object to activate it..
- Go to Item > Modify (You can also use the context menu.) to display the Modify dialog.
- In the Table tab, choose a Color, Shade, and Opacity from the appropriate pop-up menu,
- Click OK.
If you want to apply colors to alternating rows or columns in the Modify dialog, follow these steps:
- Select the Text Content tool.
- Click just outside the table region for those rows or columns you want to colorize. If you place the cursor within 6 pixels of the table edge, it will change to an arrow cursor that will select an entire row or column. To select multiple or alternating rows or columns, hold down the Shift key and click next to the rows/columns you want to modify.
- Go to Item > Modify.
- Click on the Cells tab.
- Apply the Color, Opacity, and Shading you want to apply to the selected cells.
- Click OK.
