To check for PostScript printer under Adobe Acrobat Professional on Windows or Macintosh:
- Launch Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Open any PDF file.
- Go to File > Print.
- Click on the Advanced button.
- On the left pane, select PostScript Options.
- If the items under PostScript Options are grayed out, then the Non-PostScript printer driver is installed.
To check for a PostScript printer under TextEdit on Macintosh:
- Launch Text Edit.
- Go to File > Print.
- From the 3rd pop-up menu, check to see if Error Handling is a selectable option.
- If the option is missing, then the Non-PostScript printer driver is installed.
To check for a Postscript printer under Notepad on Windows:
- Launch Notepad.
- Go to File > Print.
- Now click on the Preferences button. Then click on Advanced.
- If the PostScript Options under Document Options is missing, then the Non-PostScript printer driver is installed.
