Sol: To check if the printer is a post script printer through QuarkXPress :




  1. Launch QuarkXPress and open any document.

  2. Click on File > Print. The print dialog box will open.

  3. Select devices, if you have an option to select the PPD’s, it means it is a post-script printer. Refer to screenshot below







The second way is to check under color. If the separation is available under mode, it means it is a post-script printer. See screenshot below:
