Since s will be linked to the edition and location, how will Spanish and French Canadian customers activate? Will they be directed to the European site?

The automatic function will be edition aware. If users activate an Americas edition, they will be directed to the Americas server. As for confusion with the manual web processes, the user should be able to easily navigate to the correct site for their region. In addition, the server itself is centralized for all regions, so all of the language specific websites should be able to interface with it directly.
