QuarkXPress and QuarkXPress Passport software make it simple and efficient to create documents that meet a wide variety of publishing needs. The intuitive QuarkXPress interface is largely based on palettes that let you choose from a variety of tools, styles, colors, measurements, and so on to quickly construct a document. Using the comprehensive editing features of QuarkXPress, you can import pictures and text and precisely manipulate them to suit your needs. With the powerful printing features of QuarkXPress, you can easily output your document to paper or film.
In addition to all the features of QuarkXPress, QuarkXPress Passport provides hyphenation and spell checking in 23 languages: Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English (International and U.S.), French, German (including Reformed German), Greek, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Spanish, Swedish, and Swiss-German, and Turkish. You can tag text with language style sheets for language-specific hyphenation and access the language-specific dictionary for spell checking. You can also specify the program language for viewing menus and dialog boxes. You can install QuarkXPress Passport on any international operating system except for 2-byte operating systems (Korean, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese).
