In QuarkXPress 7, the CUPS filter patch was needed for customers in order to create a PDF via the Print dialog going to the Adobe PDF Writer as the Default Printer. This was an issue for Tiger as well as Leopard (Mac OS 10.5). Is this issue resolved in QXP 8 or will a separate patch needed to fix it?
More Information: Reports from customers indicate that the CUPS filter will still work with QuarkXPress 8. We will look into the possibility of mainstreaming this into QuarkXPress during the Avenir scope so we wont have to update a separate CUPS fix for each future release.
