QuarkXPress can export your images to web-safe file formats of GIF, JPEG, SWF, and PNG. The format selections for HTML Export are located in Export tab of the Modify dialog for each picture box. To set the export format for your images:
- Create or Open an existing Web Layout.
- Select one of the pictures in your layout.
- Go to Item > Modify.
- Click on the Export tab.
- Click on the Export as pop-up menu and select GIF, JPEG, SWF, or PNG.
- Click OK.
Note: You can also enter a short description or a name for the picture in the Alternate Text field.
