The dictionary used to spell check text is determined by the language applied to the text. You can apply a language to text in two ways:

  Select the text, choose Style > Character, then choose the target language from the Language drop-down menu.
  
  


• 
  
  Create a character or paragraph style sheet with the target language selected in the Language drop-down menu and apply that style sheet to the text.
