Background:
Earlier in QuarkXPress 2015 there was a limitation of adding text in Content Variable Option as we were allowed to choose only a limited amount of text.
Solution:
However in QuarkXPress 2016, we have introduced a new feature Line wrap content variables. Using this option, the content variable will break just like text, including hyphenating when appropriate. For Example: If we increase the Content Variable it will behave like a normal text box and any amount of text can be added to it as shown in the screenshot below :
