Frames are decorative borders that can be placed around any type of box.

QuarkXPress 10.x

To access frame controls for active boxes:

(Windows)

  1. Select the box
  2. Choose Item > Modify >Frame
  3. Specify a frame style, width, color, and opacity. If the frame style contains gaps, you can also specify gap color and opacity.

(Mac)

  1. Select the box
  2. Open the Measurement Palette(Windows > Measurements or press F9)
  3. Switch to Frame tab in Measurement Palette
  4. Specify a frame style, width, color, and opacity. If the frame style contains gaps, you can also specify gap color and opacity

QuarkXPress 9.x

Adding frames for active boxes

  1. Select the box
  2. Choose Item > Frame to display the Frame tab of the Modify dialog box.

2.Or display the Frame tab of the Measurements palette.

  1. Specify a frame style, width, color, and opacity. If the frame style contains gaps, you can also specify gap color and opacity.
